Running for U - 5k Run/Walk for Union County Teachers
On Saturday, June 1, 2013, runners and walkers will take to the streets of Historic Downtown Monroe to show their support of Union County teachers. All proceeds from this event will go to UCPS teachers through the classroom mini-grant program administered by the Union County Education Foundation. These mini-grants help our teachers purchase items for use in their classrooms.

Second Graders Study Africa
Second graders, in Mrs. Coggins’ class, have been studying Africa as part of an International Club. During this study, they have been reading folk tales from Africa and making a “story in a can” as a way to present an African Folk tale to their classmates.
